Who we are

Berthside is run by Onkar Singh, trading as Berthside in Southampton, UK, who is responsible for the personal data described here. For anything about your data, use our contact form.

What we collect and why

• If you use our contact form: your name, email address and message. We use them only to reply to you. Our lawful basis is legitimate interests: answering the questions people send us. We keep messages for up to 12 months, then delete them.
• When you visit any page: our hosting company, Netlify, processes technical data such as your IP address and browser type to deliver the site and keep it secure.
• No cookies or tracking: Berthside itself doesn't use cookies, analytics or advertising trackers.

Who else handles your data

Netlify, Inc. hosts the site and stores contact form messages for us. It may process data in the United States, under the safeguards UK data protection law requires for international transfers. We don't sell your data or share it with anyone else.

Links to other websites

When you click through to a parking company, hotel or booking site, its own privacy policy and cookies apply. Some of our links tell that site you came from Berthside, so that we can earn a commission.

Your rights

You can ask to see the personal data we hold about you, and ask us to correct it, delete it or stop using it. Contact us through the contact form. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.
