If you're driving a long way, a night in Southampton before you sail takes the stress out of embarkation day. These hotels sell packages that include parking for the length of your cruise, and most add breakfast and a transfer to the terminal.
West Quay Road · About a 9-minute walk to City Terminal; about 5 minutes by taxi to Ocean Terminal
Cruise Package with 4, 8, 15 or 21 days' parking: bed and breakfast plus a transfer to the terminal (the hotel's pages differ on whether it's one-way or return, so check). Free cancellation until 3pm the day before, and you pay at the hotel.
Ocean Village · The hotel says it's just under five minutes from the cruise terminals
Cruise & Stay: one night, breakfast, £35 food credit per person, spa access, 7, 14 or 21 nights' parking and a transfer from the hotel to the terminal. Booked with the codes CRUISE7, CRUISE14 or CRUISE21, paid in full when you book.
Herbert Walker Avenue · About a 6-minute walk to City Terminal; about 5 minutes by taxi to the others
Park, Stay and Cruise: one night with breakfast for two and 8 or 15 nights' parking. Visit Southampton also lists a one-way taxi to the port.
Charlotte Place, city centre · City centre; no parking at the hotel itself
Cruise & Park with 4, 8, 15 or 21 days: one night with breakfast. Your car is kept at Radio Cruise Parking, with private taxis between the car park, the hotel and your terminal, and back to your car.
West Quay Road · Less than 2 miles from City and Ocean terminals
A park and cruise package that lets you leave your car in the hotel's car park until you return. The hotel doesn't publish how many nights or whether a transfer is included, so ask when you book.
West Quay Road · About 5 minutes by taxi to Horizon and City, 8 minutes to Ocean
Stay and park packages with secure parking. No details are published, so ask when you book.
West End · About a 25-minute drive to the terminals
One night with breakfast, transfers to and from the terminal, and 4, 8, 15 or 21 nights' parking. Extra nights cost £15.

Your car stays in the hotel car park, with a shuttle or taxi to the port and back, plus breakfast (as sold by Holiday Extras).
Winchester · A drive of about 12 miles or more to the port
Park and Cruise for 8 or 15 days: one night, full English breakfast, parking and a return taxi to the docks. Extra days cost £10.
Premier Inns and Moxy don't offer park and cruise packages. Premier Inn West Quay uses the West Quay multi-storey car park, and Moxy has limited paid parking on site.
